The Heritage Foundation will hire over 50 interns who will serve alongside our staff in-person in Washington, D.C.

Spring 2027 internship details:

• All interns will be paid $18.50 per hour.
• The semester begins in early January and ends in early April.
• Spring interns may work full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (a minimum of 20 hours per week) hours during the fall semester. Standard hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Applicants will preferably be a college junior or above by credit hours, but students with fewer credit hours are welcome to apply.
• Recent college graduates, master's students, and law students are encouraged to apply.
• International students who are authorized to be employed in the United States are eligible to apply for a Heritage internship.
• Must be a high school graduate in order to apply.
